Let's see what the best way to promote web comics is. Fun as shameless plugs around here are, I am preaching to the choir a bit (you all read it don't you?! Good). So I am having a go at plugging Harkovast on a load of other web comic related forums and comic listing sites. I've put on links and pictures and all kinds of fun stuff too. Lets see if this does anything to increase my number of hits, or is it just a waste of time to make nerds feel busy?! "SCIENCE AND SHAMELESS PLUGS, TOGETHER AT LAST!"

Seriously If you want hits then buy project wonderful advertising. It's way cheap, you can get great spot for just 10cents. My advice for forum advertising is putting your pretty banner in the signature, then making worthwhile posts to the community that don't include plugging your comic. But project wonderful is the way to go.

It took me 3$ to get 40,000 hits that one day. But keep in mind my ad was eye catching and mentioned lesbians, on a likewise site that mentions lesbians. Have you ever advertised with project wonderful?! I'd be happy to make a guide someday on what to and not to do. Remember you're not locked into buying their space, you can bid for '12$' and cancel once 3$ is drained.

Well I am not planning to promise lesbians. "THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS LESBIANS, JUST WOMEN WHO HAVEN'T MET CHUCK NORRIS"
