BUT THE fragtasticING PHYSICS KILLED ME.
When you jump, you're suddenly filled with helium. SHOT IN THE FACE. When you're hijacked, you seem to be as heavy as 10,000 suns. When you can move, however, you're splattered. Across the pavement/metal/snow/sand. When you and your enemy are shooting the equal amount of shots in one another, you walk up close to the person press the 'B' button. Hey, guess what?! You're dead, have fun.
Oh the HACKERS, aswell. It's like bungie just let's them be. Like they're advocates for hacking. They do nothing about the hacking. They just please the 'fans' by acting as if everyone loves halo and releases some shitty update to the game that has no impact on anything except how shiny you're gun is.
Oh hold on, I have more complaints.
Forge. There is literally no point to it. Sure, you can switch up some guns. Yeah, great. But since NO ONE actually plays forge maps, and you can't play them online anyway. Sadly, if you like the sentinal beam and fuel rod, you're never going to use them.
Now, about online. It's all random. It's just bungie's way of cutting corners. They couldn't spend time to make the game have custom games for online.
I could go on to make a book of everything that's wrong in halo 3, but alas, I'd be typing all day.
Just had to say that.
I also wasn't sure whether I should've put it in the rant/vent thread, or here so I put it here...

I've never played the first two Halo games. Sometimes I go to a friend's house and we play Halo 3, however.
I've had a lot of fun playing it. I suck miserably, but I have a lot of fun playing it. I think it suceded to do what a lot of other FPSs failed to do, with the opportunity to actually use tactics, team up with friends, have diverse weaponry, etc.
There were a lot of things that could have been improved, but that's inevitable. As far as games go, especially of this genre, I think Bungie did an excellent job.

dont get me wrong. the multi player is fun, and halo 1 made that revolutionary. however, i was expecting something "world changing" (for lack of a better term atm) much like halo 1 was. however, what i got was the same game i've bought two previous times, but this time with a spartan helmet, better graphics, and way different controls. other wise it's been the same game for the past 7 years.

Since I started on Halo 3, I didn't have any of the preceding games to compare it to or get bored of.

Sadly, if you like the sentinal beam and fuel rod, you're never going to use them. Actually, I've seen people do some really cool stuff with forge. You actually can share them online, but only with people on your friends list. (A freing of mine recently made "Sparta" at my suggestion. The only way to defeat your opponents is to knock them into a hole in the center.)

Ha! Hilariosity ensues. He even t-bagged! Don't wanna mess with that kid (I think he might be the real Master Chief).
If he made all of this stuff, though, that's pretty cool.
