I'm biased, but I think the samurai would win. I'm not sure that a knight in full armor and a greatsword could really hit a samurai (those Orientals are quick little guys). Having studied the samurai arts, using power against them isn't all that effective and a katana is much faster than the old English swords. I don't know what a samurai would do about all of his opponent's armor... (I think I would try to knock the knight over and point and laugh at him while he rolls around trying to get back up.)

I bet it would be an endless fight. Samurai unable to get through the knight's armour, the knight unable to hit the samurai at all...they would either fight until one of them got a lucky shot in, or they both fell asleep.
