I've been told to see it again and again. I still need to and I'd really like to check it out.

After hearing so much about it, I decided I might as well start TiVo'ing the SciFi showing...
I just have one thing to say:
WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM!?!

(Sci Fi... You aren't watching the terrible dubs, I hope!) Yes, because the dub's voice actors' inability to speak in a language you don't know and therefore can't find the flaws in makes it terrible. And what's this?! They actually have the audacity to not sound exactly like the original goddamn voice actors?! Clearly, they have committed the worst of sins and must be punished! Seriously, aside from a few very special cases (particularly from the 90's and before), there is hardly any real difference between dubs and the original language. Also, it's impossible to be unbiased concerning the quality. Nine times out of ten, people will prefer the first track they heard because the other track will sound awkward to their ears, which have been trained to associate the characters with a certain voice. For example, in the clip you posted, I couldn't shake the idea that Kamina's voice is too low from my head.
