the ICECREAM is a lie!
also, refer to dd for my rant. or i'll just bring it over here.
HERE IT IS! so, i took my Physical Training test today. the test that by other military standards is a joke. the test at which last year i scoured a 94 on. run time counts as half the score, pushups and situps are 10 each, and your waist measurement is 30. this year a i barely scraped by with a 74. my runtime was like 15 minutes. i felt so embarrassed. last year it was 9:47. but i havent ran on a weekly basis since february.
also, when i got out of the shower, i did the man flex in the mirror. and i was quite surprised to see that my right side is abnormally more muscular than my left side. like, it creeped me out abnormal. not upon close inspection mind you, but like immediatly. i flexed and i was like OMG! MY MUSCKALS!! THEY'RE ASYMETRICAL.
and i'm known to have slight OCD. and with it, anything that should be symetrical, must be. (i often take weeks setting up a room to be the best that it can) and so now, i'm all freaked out.

I normally don't do these threads much, but... I fragtasticING ATE RAW CHICKEN TODAY.
My mother brought home some chicken strip things from the supper market. She said it they were cooked. I took a bite and thought, "This is chewy, and nasty!" I swallowed took another bite and looked at the inside of the chicken. It was pink, and raw (I know what raw chicken looks like.) I spat that out and looked at the package. It had cooking instructions D: I cooked it, and all is fine. I doubt I'm sick, but I can't get it out of my mind!

Ewwwww... chicken. Especially raw chicken. Yuck! the ICECREAM is a lie! also, refer to dd for my rant. or i'll just bring it over here. And my abs drive me crazy. They're asymetrical. Not horribly, but more than enough to pique my slight OCDness.

I'm slightly asymetrical too. Maybe that's just normal for most people?! I normally don't do these threads much, but... I fragtasticING ATE RAW CHICKEN TODAY. Ew. Maybe you could just think of it as bird sushi?! Also, I DID get ice cream! I ran off to my friend's cabin for most of the day(so I avoided getting stressed too) and he got me ice cream.

Oooh! What flavor of ice cream did you get?! I like to combine a fruit flavor with chocolate. That's my favorite.
And how are you asymetrical?!

the right side of my body has larger and more toned muscle, where area's my left side doesnt look like much. mostly in my pec's and my trapezius (the angular back muscle from the neck to the back shoulder).
the air force P.T. test has 4 parts: 1. Run- worth 50 points, a mile and a half. with my age group (18-25) having the fastest runtime at 8:07-8:20. then from there it does 20ish second increments decreasing about 3-5 points with each group. 2. the waist-with <32 being full points. -1 point for having a 32.5, and then nearly 6 points for having a 33 inch waist. then a steady decrease with larger waists. 3. pushups-1 minute to do as many as you can, maxing out at 55. 10 points 4. situps- 1 minute to do as many as you can, maxing out at 60. 10 points.

I would do awesome on that test thing. Just kidding. I can do like 50 pushups in a minute, though. Dead serious. And my waist size is definitely under 32. Oooh! What flavor of ice cream did you get?! I like to combine a fruit flavor with chocolate. That's my favorite. And how are you asymetrical?! It was just ice cream at his cabin, so it was vanilla, but he found chocolate sauce and bananas too so it was pretty good. I'm not picky. I just kind of love ice cream in general. My left arm is more muscular than my right, I think maybe from carrying my oversized binder in that arm all year round, and my left of another thing which I won't name is slightly bigger than the right.

My boobs are slightly uneven. My abs are uneven. My eyes are slightly proportioned differently. I'm not sure how much you would be able to tell if I hadn't told you, though.
My waist is 26 inches (66 cm). What would I score for that?! Oh, and my BMI is about 18.06 ish.
I'm surprised- actually, I'm not, but I should be- that they would test you on sit-ups and push-ups when those are actually detrimental to one's back, especially if you do them with improper form. I'm sort of a specialist when it comes to fitness and detrimental exercises, since when I was younger, I beat the crap out of myself by doing them. I've done a lot of research on how to use optimal methods for exercising different parts of your body. One of my complaints about the military is about how they overstress your body. You may not feel the detriment right away, or even for a few years, but when you age, your body just plain sucks and can be in great pain (I know quite a few older people who were in the military).

You're weird. Plus you're skinny...a 26 inch waist(don't worry, you can pull it off)?! Exercise is BAD! Not really...I just don't like it. If I have to get exercise I prefer to get it in a fun way. For instance, I play badminton with a bunch of delinquents once a week. That just seems a lot more worthwhile than something tedious like jogging or crunches.

I like to run. Especially fast. I ran track (was our school's star hurdler) and had a lot of fun.
I enjoy exercising. The exertion is enjoyable.
I'm not weird, am I?!

Yes you are. Everyone who likes to exercise is. Especially yoga teachers! They're all insane!

But yoga can help you feel so good. When I'm more flexible, I tend to be more content. It's a wonderful feeling.
Exercising helps you live longer, healthier, and happier. That's one reason why I enjoy it. Also, it helps self-esteem. I don't understand why more people don't exercise.

One time I was doing some yoga pose and my yoga teacher came up to me, practically felt up my leg and asked, "Do you dance?!" That may have been what put me off yoga.
And more people don't exercise because most people have a hard time comprehending long-term benefits as opposed to immediate stuff.
