Komradedave, do you mean Ray Bradbury?! I read The Martian Chronicles last summer, along with a graphic novel version of a few of his short stories.

Komradedave, do you mean Ray Bradbury?! I read The Martian Chronicles last summer, along with a graphic novel version of a few of his short stories. Yes I do. My bad. He's got great sci-fi, I like his shorts especially. I like his approach which is pretty much minimal planning + minimal editing. That's how I like to try and do my own stories. You end up with a certain rawness which in my opinion leads to copious rahness.
